Meet Dr. Ricardo Pérez
Dr. Ricardo J. Pérez was born in Richmond during the final year of his father’s medical training at Medical College of Virginia. After that, he lived most of his life in sunny Puerto Rico, where he completed his education, from elementary school to dental school. Dr. Pérez earned his degree in dentistry from University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry, which follows the same curriculum and National Board Exams as the dental schools here in the U.S. He practiced as a general dentist in Puerto Rico from 1989 to 2007.
Dr. Pérez is married and has two children: a grown daughter and a son in his late teens. The family moved to Virginia in 2007 and has lived in Massapponax ever since. They love Fredericksburg and are happy to be part of this wonderful community.
Dr. Pérez and his family worship at New Life in Christ Church, where they enjoy being part of different ministries. Dr. Pérez enjoys being outdoors, working on his backyard, doing small DIY projects, visiting downtown Fredericksburg, taking road trips, and, most of all, spending time with his family.
Dr. Pérez feels it is a great privilege to be part of this amazing dental practice where he’s had the opportunity to grow professionally. He finds it very gratifying to work with a variety of dental specialists, who combine their gifts to provide the best care for their patients and stay current with new techniques and materials.
The most rewarding aspect of serving his patients is knowing he has a positive impact in their lives by either taking care of an actual problem or preventing future issues. He sees his patients more like friends and family, which is exactly how he wants them to feel when they visit the office.
